Movement for mental health
Movement for mental health is a quality improvement project helping people supported by our Trust to become more physically active in ways that feel realistic, accessible and personally meaningful.
The project supports staff to have brief conversations about movement, encourages small achievable goals, and connects people with local activities through the Movement Directory. It was developed with input from patients, with the aim of improving physical health, mental wellbeing and quality of life.
Explore free and low-cost physical activity opportunities across Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth. From chair-based exercise and walking groups to swimming, dance and sport, there is something for a wide range of interests, abilities and activity levels.
This directory is regularly reviewed and updated.
