Media enquiries

Our communications team manages all media enquiries and requests for filming and photography. Journalists must contact the communications team first – please do not approach our staff directly.

For all media enquiries Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, please email communications@swlstg.nhs.uk where a member of the team will review and action your request. This inbox is checked regularly during office hours and we will respond to you as soon as possible. Please do not use this email for general or patient enquiries.

If you have an urgent query outside of these hours, please ring our contact centre on 020 3513 5000 and ask to speak to the on call communications team member.

Mental health reporting

Journalists looking for information on the most appropriate ways of reporting emotional crises or mental health issues - including suicide - may like to refer to guidelines by the Samaritans which are supported by most media organisations and professional bodies.
