Dave is running his fourth marathon to raise funds for our Trust charity, which supports vital projects like Christmas gifts for patients, wellbeing spaces for staff, and crucial research trials.
Dave’s fundraising efforts aim to “Make Life Better Together” by supporting these essential initiatives. His dedication to the cause is truly inspiring.

The Thames Turbo Sprint Triathlon is a popular beginner-friendly triathlon held in South West London, typically featuring a 400m pool swim, 21km bike ride, and 5km run. Organised by Thames Turbo Triathlon Club, the race is known for its well-supported, friendly atmosphere and fast, flat course, making it ideal for both newcomers and seasoned athletes looking for a personal best.
Emily has dedicated nearly 10 years to South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust and has seen firsthand the impact of its small, volunteer-run charity. Now, she's taking on a sprint triathlon to raise funds for vital projects that go beyond NHS funding, making a real difference for patients and staff.
This will be Emily's first ever triathlon and her sister, Sophie, will be taking part alongside her.

The Big Half is a vibrant, inclusive half marathon with a fun, festival atmosphere. This incredible event gives you the chance to run part of the iconic London Marathon course. The 13.1-mile route takes you through the heart of the city, starting at Tower Bridge and finishing at the legendary Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
Tarisai is running The Big Half to support our Trust charity. Every step taken will help raise funds to support vital programs, initiatives, and services for those facing long-term mental health challenges. Francesca is running The Big Half to support a cause close to her heart, the Seacole Ward at our Trust’s National OCD Unit, where she serves as Ward and Team Manager.
All funds raised will go to Seacole Ward, supporting activities like therapeutic trips and group sessions. These are key to helping patients recover and reintegrate into the community.

“OCD and BDD are often misunderstood, and many people living with them don’t get the support they need,” she says. “I want to shine a light on these conditions and the incredible work our team does every day.”

Hyde Park. With distances from half a mile to six miles, it’s the perfect challenge for swimmers of all levels.

Evelyn is diving into London’s iconic Swim Serpentine to raise funds for our Trust’s charity. She’ll be swimming in Hyde Park’s famous Serpentine lake to support mental health services that make a real difference across our communities.
“I wanted to take on a unique challenge and do something meaningful — this is the perfect way to combine both,” says Evelyn.
