Al-Anon Family Groups  ( addiction support)  Support for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else’s drinking, running meetings in Raynes Park, Wimbledon, Roehampton, Putney (Polish speaking group), Richmond and Twickenham.

Alzheimer's Society Support for people affected by dementia through tailored advice, practical help, and emotional guidance from dedicated Dementia Advisers.

Aurora Foundation  (mental health support)   Supporting adult men and women who have experienced any kind of childhood trauma and abuse, including counselling and psychotherapy, survivor support groups and a support line.

Caras  (community support)   Refugee charity in south west London providing advice and support for asylum seekers to build happy and successful lives.

CDARS - Sunshine Recovery CafeCrisis cafe and well-being support service for adults. Open 365 days a year for drop in and no referral support. Open 6-11pm on weekdays and 12 noon -11pm on weekends and Bank Holidays. 

Cedar House Support Group  (postnatal support)  Support groups in south London and Surrey for women who are experiencing postnatal depression.

Dose of Nature  (mental health support)   Charity promoting the benefits of engaging with the natural world to improve mental wellbeing in south west London.

Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Project (EMHIP) Hubs  (mental health support)   Anyone who is struggling can visit one of the Wandsworth EMHIP health and wellbeing hubs, for a warm welcome, a cup of tea and the chance to talk about what’s on their mind.

ELOP  (LGBTQ+ support)  ELOP provides a range of information, support and counselling services for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, including those who have same-sex relationships but don't identify as LGBT. 

Focus 4-1  (mental health support)   Independent adult mental health service user group promoting recovery and wellbeing across south west London. They also work with Merton Talking Therapies to provide community support. 

Headway South West London  (disability support)   Providing assistance, support, information and services to people with a brain injury and their families and carers.

Hub of Hope  (mental health support)   National directory of mental health support for all ages, including anyone in a mental health crisis. 

My Mental Wellness UK  (mental health information)    Information about local and national support, as well as local mental health projects. 

Royal Trinity Hospice  (palliative care support)   Free specialist palliative and end of life care for people living in Wandsworth and parts of Merton and Richmond.  

Ruils  (disability support / independent living support)     User-led charity support disabled children and adults, and people living with long-term physical and mental health conditions to live independently in Richmond, Kingston and Wandsworth.

Save the World Club  (c ommunity support)   Charity empowering the community through feeding vulnerable people, facilitating community art projects, and empowering sustainable lifestyle choices.

Spear  (homelessness support)   Providing holistic support to people experiencing homelessness, including their Homeless Health Link Service.

Stay Alive App  (suicide prevention)   The Stay Alive app, developed by Grassroots Suicide Prevention, is a suicide prevention resource for the UK, packed full of useful information and tools to help you stay safe in crisis.

The Engaged Mindfulness Initiative Ltd Community-based mindfulness programmes supporting mental wellbeing, connection, and emotional resilience through accessible, inclusive practices.

The Listening Place  (suicide prevention)   Free, regular, face-to-face support for people to talk openly about suicidal feelings with a trained volunteer. 

WMS  (conflict resolution)   Conflict resolution and training provider, helping people to navigate conflict, such as neighbour dispute mediation, inter-generational mediation and co-parenting mediation.

Age UK Sutton (elderly support)   Helping older people in Sutton to live well in later life, providing information, expert advice and practical support.

Avanti Mental Well-Being CIC Provides accessible  creative activities, support programmes, and training, promoting recovery, confidence and community connection.

Citizens Advice Sutton (advice support)  Providing information and advice including on welfare benefits, housing and debt.

Cranstoun Inspire Sutton (addiction support)  Community drug and alcohol service for anyone over the age of 18. You can self-refer to this service.

Happy Homes (community support)  Organisation support Asian families with their wellbeing and resilience.

Home-Start Sutton (family support)  Support to children and families, including home-visiting by trained and professionally supported parent volunteers.

Refugee and Migrant Network Sutton (migrant support)   Offering friendship, advice and English language classes to refugees, asylum seekers and newly settled migrants.

Riverside Centre (community support)  Community centre and charity providing a range of activities, social events and groups, like community lunches and walking groups.

Sutton Carers (carers support)  Information, advice and support for unpaid carers, including young carers and anyone caring for someone with a mental health condition.  

Sutton Crisis Café (crisis support)   This service for people in mild to moderate mental health crisis, who just need a safe place to be and someone to listen.

Sutton DASS (abuse support)   Domestic abuse service that provides advice, domestic abuse specific counselling and group programmes.

Sutton Hear4YOUth (youth support)   Children and young people’s drug and alcohol service offering advice support and guidance to children and young people, and their families and carers.

Sutton Mental Health Foundation (mental health support)  Person-centred non-clinical mental health support for adults living independently in Sutton.

Sutton Vis ion (vision support)   Supporting and advocating on behalf of blind and partially sighted people living and working in Sutton.

Sutton Women’s Cent re (women support)  Offering a range of services including counselling, classes like art therapy, socials and support for those who are surviving domestic abuse.

Talk Off The Rec ord (youth support)  Free mental health support for young people aged 11-25 in Sutton and Merton, including counselling and support line. 

Volunteer Centre Sutto n (volunteer support)  Building better lives through volunteering by providing a range of community projects such as mentoring, befriending, advocacy and community health support.

Yourspace Sutton A community garden and tearoom run by volunteers.
