We provide free confidential psychological and wellbeing interventions for common mental health problems (anxiety disorders or depression).
Referrals are accepted from people aged 18 years and over who are Sutton residents, or non-Sutton residents who are registered with a Sutton GP. This includes those in temporary accommodation in the borough.
Referrals for young people from GPs will be accepted when client is age 17 and 9 months. GPs wishing to refer anyone under 17 and 9 months for talking therapies, should refer to CAMHS who will assess.
Coming to a Talking Therapies service can feel like a daunting task. Many people tell us they were worried about how to explain how they were feeling, and were unsure what help was available. We have asked some people who have used our service to tell us about their experience. We hope that this can provide an understanding of what leads people to get in touch, and inspire people to take those first important steps towards feeling better.
