BPD/ASPD and emerging PD​

Aims

The study aims to investigate shared and differential neural and behavioural signatures of BPD and ASPD in adults and neurobiological and behavioural precursors in the respective emerging psychopathologies during mid and late adolescence.

NB: There is a now a specific MBTi stream within this study, so any service users about to undertake MBT could enter this parallel stream.

  • Individuals aged 18-65 with BPD or ASPD

  • Healthy controls (Aged 18-65)

COBALT​

Aim​
A trial aiming to see if adding memantine to cholinesterase inhibitors improves overall health and​
functioning for people with DLB or PDD.​
PI: Dr Robert Lawrence​

Eligibility​
People with diagnosis of probable Lewy Body Dementia or probable Parkinson’s Disease Dementia​
Age ≥ 50 years​
MMSE score ≥ 8​
Stable dose of AChEI for 12 weeks or more prior to baseline assesment​

Global Minds (Cohort 3)​

Aims​
To create a large dataset of individuals diagnosed with Dementia used to investigate how genomics, other biological measures and non-biological risk factors are associated with the condition and it’s outcomes.​

Diagnosis of Dementia.​

Visions in Parkinson’s​

Aims​
Identify the brain regions associated with​
visual dysfunction in different forms of Parkinson’s Disease and to determine if these can be detected at the earliest stages of the disease​
process.​

Eligibility​
Aged 18+​
Capacity to consent​
Can tolerate neuroimaging.​
Can tolerate behavioural and psychological testing.​
