Develop a resource that allows for scientifically robust research into childhood health and improve our understanding of how conditions such as diabetes, mental health conditions, and cardiovascular disease occur.

Children and young people aged 0-15.

Participants who are willing to be invited to take part in future research.

OPTICat

Aims

Optimising community care (education) and treatment reviews through understanding the experience of people with learning disability and autistic people. The study aims to investigate their impact on care.

PI: Sophia Zisman

Eligibility

  • Children/adolescents (aged between 14 and 17 years, inclusive) or adults (≥ 18 years) with a clinical diagnosis of learning disability or autism

  • Under the care of a community mental health service (e.g. CAHMS, CLDT, CMHT).

  • Rated as red or amber on the DSR

RaISE

Aim

A Randomised Controlled Feasibility Trial aiming to assess the uptake, retention, acceptability of 20 sessions (spread over 4 weeks) of Theta-Burst Stimulation for young people with Anorexia Nervosa.

PI: Dr Joel Khor

Eligibility

  • Any gender between the ages of 13 and 30.

  • Current DSM-V diagnosis of AN?restricting type (AN-R) or AN?Binge/purging type (AN-BP).

  • Must have completed at least one adequate previous course of eating disorder treatment.

  • Sufficient proficiency in English.
