Annual Public Meeting
Every year, we host our Annual Public Meeting, bringing together patients, carers, staff, partners and members of the public.
It’s an opportunity to reflect on the past year, hear about our achievements and challenges, look ahead to our plans for the future and hear from the people and communities we serve. The event includes presentations from a range of speakers and an opportunity to ask questions of our Trust Board.
Each year usually focuses on a particular theme. Our Annual Public Meeting in September 2026 marked the launch of our Trust Strategy 2026–2031.

Launching our Trust Strategy
Our Chief Executive, Vanessa Ford MBE, and Deputy Director of Strategy and Transformation, Leah O’Donovan, introduced our Trust Strategy 2026–2031.
The strategy sets out our vision and priorities for the years ahead. Shaped by engagement with staff, service users, carers, partners and local communities, it sets out how we will improve mental health care, tackle health inequalities and deliver better outcomes for the people we serve.

Spotlight on innovation and partnership
The meeting showcased examples of innovation and partnership working across the Trust and our local communities.
Colleagues and carers involved in the Sutton Neurodevelopmental Needs Pilot shared how they are working together to develop more responsive and joined-up support for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs.
Attendees also heard about our peer debriefing programme, which gives patients the opportunity to talk about their experiences and uses their feedback to help improve future care.
