Trust Charity deliver ‘Party in a box’ to every inpatient ward following Winter Appeal!

In the run up to Christmas our Trust Charity hand delivered a ‘Party in a box’ to every inpatient ward – full to the brim with things to help staff and patients celebrate the festive season in style including items like decorations (some of which may provide a good crafting activity!), festive tableware, some sweet treats, games and toiletries.
Also included in the box was a quiz, a range of party playlists and a food and drink voucher to help create a party that every can enjoy on each ward.
Harriet Nakigudde , Unit Manager Lotus Assessment Suite said: " Thank you for your generosity which will mean a lot to our patients and raise their Christmas spirits. Lotus Assessment suite will be lucky to receive the voucher."
The Charity has been hard at work fundraising to reach the £2,500 total, and have busy organising a Pub Quiz, bake sales and more – so far, we have reached 68% of our target and are continuing to appeal for those who are able to help us reach our target .

An entire ‘party-in-a-box’ comes complete with festive decorations, party hats and headbands, tableware, chocolate reindeer, candy canes, holiday craft activities and games, festive party music playlists (incorporating different religious celebrations) and seasonal edible treats via a food and soft drinks voucher so a ward has everything they need for a celebration to remember.
