The NHS Community Mental Health Survey collects the views of thousands of people using community mental health services across the country. By completing the survey, you’re helping us understand what we’re doing well, and where we need to improve.

Partners across South West London recently came together to celebrate the successful transformation of adult community mental health services.

NHS staff, carers, patients and stakeholders took part in a special event in June to mark the transformation, a key part of the Trust’s Better Care programme.

We have been shocked by the unrest which has been taking place across the country over the past week. The suffering experienced by the people of Southport, along with others affected by the violence there, is unimaginable. 

The South-West London Integrated Care Board suicide prevention programme and South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust have joined forces in hosting this year’s suicide prevention conference - a yearly commitment within our own Suicide Prevention Strategy.

Earlier this month, South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust was delighted to host a delegation of Ukrainian mental health experts in collaboration with the Department of Health and Social Care.

All three patients have now been returned safely to Springfield Hospital. An internal investigation will commence today.

Wisteria ward at Springfield Hospital has a wonderful new garden thanks to the creativity and hard work of the ward’s young patients who designed it.

Abiodun, who is known by colleagues as Vincent, i s the Ward Manager on Ward 1 and has been at the Trust for 13 years, joining in July 2011. He is known as someone who is extremely passionate about his role, and as someone who takes on feedback, constantly working to make life on Ward 1 easier for all.

This month we celebrated Learning Disability Week (17-23 June) with staff from our learning disability services who took the time to tell us about their roles and the important work they do, as well as the things they do to support their patients to feel seen, heard and valued, which is the theme for this year's awareness week.
