A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone who recently took on the Vitality London 10K and Swim Serpentine challenges in support of our Trust Charity.
Over the past few weeks, a combination of Trust colleagues and members of our community have pulled on their running shoes and swimming caps to push themselves beyond their comfort zones, taking on two of London's most iconic sporting events. Whether completing the 10K course through the heart of the capital or tackling the open waters of the Serpentine, every participant demonstrated incredible determination, commitment and resilience.
Together, they have raised over £8,000 (including gift aid) which is an amazing achievement and a huge boost for our small Trust Charity for projects that will benefit our patients and staff. It’s not too late to donate to our swimmers or runners!
These events are about much more than crossing a finish line. They represent months of training, early mornings, personal goals and the courage to take on a new challenge. By participating, our colleagues have not only achieved something remarkable personally, but have also helped raise awareness and support for our Trust Charity.
We are immensely proud of everyone who took part. Your enthusiasm, dedication and team spirit are a fantastic reflection of our organisation and the values we share. You have inspired colleagues across the Trust and shown what can be achieved through perseverance and a positive mindset.
A special thank you also goes to everyone who supported our runners and swimmers through donations, messages of encouragement and cheering from the sidelines.
Whether you achieved a personal best, completed your first event, or simply challenged yourself to do something new, you should be incredibly proud of what you have accomplished.

Well done Team SWLSTG!
