The next Exceptional People Award winner of 2025 is Heather McFadden, who has been named winner for April!
Heather works as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in Sutton, a position she has held for over 4 years after previously spending time at the Trust as a Staff Nurse at Corner House.
A colleague of Heather said: “Heather is the ultimate role model for any new nurse, or even new colleague. Her work ethic and consistently outstanding standards of care inspire me every day.
“She is appreciated and respected by so many members of her team and deserves so much recognition for her outstanding work!”.
Heather was delighted to find out that she had won the April 2025 award. She spoke about her time at the Trust, saying: “My favourite thing about my role is building therapeutic relationships and connections with patients. I love to see and be part of people's recovery journeys. I also work in such a brilliant and diverse team, which makes the challenging work we do so much more enjoyable!
“I feel really happy and appreciative of colleagues who have taken the time to nominate me, so thank you!”
Heather will receive a certificate, a gift, and our thanks for her valued service to the Trust and patients.
Every month we recognise and reward a staff member who has made a real difference to the Trust, our people and our patients. Nominations are welcome from all teams.
