Celebrating our latest Exceptional People Award winner: Emma Dancey
Emma Dancey has been named as the penultimate recipient of the Trust’s Exceptional People Award for 2024, having been selected as the November winner.
Emma has worked as a Specialist Clinical Psychotherapist within the Richmond Wellbeing Service for two years, having re-joined the Trust after previously completing her Mental Health Nurse Training with us.
The Richmond Wellbeing team were full of praise for Emma, saying: “Emma is a diligent member of the team who always works hard and goes above and beyond in her role. One example of this is the fact that she co-created a temporary risk cover rota whilst we had a vacancy and covered risk duty herself at short notice.
“Emma has also recently received a very moving thank you card from a client who shared the great impact of the therapy they did together and how it helped not just them, but also the whole family. Thank you for all your hard work Emma!”
When informed of her success, Emma said that she felt honoured to be both nominated and selected as the winner: “I feel so shocked and grateful to have been chosen for this award. It’s really lovely to be recognised for the work I do, thank you so much!
“My favourite thing about life at the Trust is working with lovely and supportive people which is very important when working in mental health. I enjoy supporting clients on their recovery journey and helping people to live more fulfilling lives.
Emma will receive a certificate, a gift, and our thanks for her valued service to the Trust and patients.
Every month we recognise and reward a staff member that has made a real difference to the Trust, our people and our patients. Nominations are welcome from all teams.
