Celebrating our latest Exceptional People Award winner: Elisabetta Mazza
Elisabetta Mazza, a Healthcare Assistant on Bluebell Ward, has been selected as the latest recipient of the Trust’s Exceptional People Award. She has been a valued member of the Trust for the past eight years.
The Bluebell Ward Team were full of praise for Elisabetta, saying: “Liz shows enormous dedication to our patients on the ward. She cares deeply about engaging them and ensuring that their experience is as personal as possible.
“She goes above and beyond to learn about our patients as individuals and uses what she learns to inform their everyday experience.”
Elisabetta was delighted to hear that she had been selected by a panel of her peers to win the award. She spoke about her role, saying:
“I am very proud to say that I show compassion, care, and love for our patients. When they show their gratitude back, I know I am doing my job properly.
“Winning this award feels so special and propels me to stick to the Trust values. I am very grateful for the recognition and to the staff who have taken their time to nominate me.”
Elisabetta will receive a certificate, a gift, and our thanks for her valued service to the Trust and patients.
