The Recovery College run by South West London & St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust was the UK's first mental health recovery study and training college. It provides a range of courses and resources for patients, families, friends, carers and staff. The college aims to support people become experts in their own self-care and wellbeing. The courses are run by peer trainers (people with lived experience of mental health challenges) and mental health professionals. The courses vary in length from a single three-hour session to an eight-week course. They are delivered both online and in person. Find out more about the Recovery College and the courses it offers.
Urgent help and crisis support. If you are already a patient at our Trust, between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday we encourage you to call the mental health team that looks after you. National Hearing Voices Network
The Hearing Voices Network raise awareness around the diversity of voices, visions and similar experiences. They aim to challenge negative stereotypes, stigma and discrimination. You can find details of local Hearing Voice Groups here.
