About our care
Phoenix Unit is an inpatient service offering 24-hour care and treatment to individuals who are dealing with mental health challenges in their recovery and reintegration into the community.
Someone may be referred to the unit if they require a phased approach to their discharge, or if they need additional support – but not the level provided in a ward environment.
Patients are supported by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who are focused on empowering and equipping people with the skills they need to live more independently and achieve recovery.
During their stay, patients take part in a range of individual and group-based activities designed to help them acquire or enhance various life skills including social skills, communication skills, problem-solving and coping mechanisms.
Who is this service for?
Adults in South West London who are aged 18-75 and require psychiatric rehabilitation to support their recovery.
Referrals and access
All patients are referred either via the South London Partnership or by professionals from other inpatient services within the Trust. The service does not accept referrals from GPs.
