New parking arrangements at Tolworth Hospital
As part of our Better Environments programme we are removing old and unused buildings at the centre of the Tolworth Hospital site.
As this moves forward, parking arrangements are changing over the coming months to accommodate the new site layout. Some parking areas will close to staff, patients and visitors with a minimum of 80-90 spaces available at all times.
Parking capacity will be set in line with parking surveys conducted prior site works starting to ensure adequate provision as follows
- From the end of April 2024 until the end of June 2024 around 100 parking spaces will be available.
- From the end of June 2024 through to end November 2024 around 90 car parking spaces will be available.
- Please also note that during this five month period it will be necessary to close the main exit while works to widen this space take place, meaning a one way traffic light system will be in place to support entrance and exit via the main entrance. Further information will be shared nearer the time.
- From December 2024 until the end of the construction period in 2027, 113 car parking spaces will be made available.
The Trust and our construction partners will continue to work closely with staff, patients and the wider community to keep disruption to a minimum.
