Sindy Sugumar has been selected as the latest 2025 winner of the Trust’s Exceptional People Award.
Sindy works as a Service Improvement Project Lead and has been at the Trust for seven years, recently moving from a different corporate role to join the Transformation team.
Sindy was nominated for this award due to her work on DIALOG+, a specially developed programme to make routine patient-clinician meetings therapeutically effective. Her colleague said: “Thanks to Sindy’s tireless efforts, the Community Service Line has achieved an extraordinary milestone, over 95% initiation of DIALOG+ for CPA patients. This achievement is particularly remarkable because it required collaboration across multiple teams.
“Sindy has truly gone above and beyond, delivering results that will have a lasting impact for service users and setting a powerful example of excellence for others to follow.”
Sindy was surprised to learn that she had won the award and spoke about what she loves most about life at the Trust. She said:
“It means a lot to have my work recognised, and it motivates me to continue contributing to the Trust’s strategic ambitions.
“My favourite thing about my role is seeing the direct link between the changes my team and I make. Knowing that our work helps ensure care is delivered efficiently, timely, and compassionately, especially to those who are most vulnerable, is deeply rewarding.”
Sindy will receive a certificate, a gift, and our thanks for her valued service to the Trust and patients.
Every month we recognise and reward a staff member that has made a real difference to the Trust, our people and our patients. Nominations are welcome from all teams.
