Pedestrian access restored at Springfield Hospital's Burntwood Lane

From this day onwards the, the Burntwood Lane entrance will reopen to pedestrians, whilst the Bicknell Way entrance in the north-west corner of the site will become a traffic-only access until further notice. Diversion signs will be in place to support wayfinding from Wednesday.

Springfield Village was officially opened on 5 July at the Trust’s Summer Street Party which also celebrated the NHS’ 75th Birthday. Nearly 1,000 people from across the community took part to mark the occasion, with the Mayor of Wandsworth, Juliana Annan, leading the ribbon cutting.
