Local school brings colour to Kingston CAMHS

Art work created by students from Surbiton High School during their visit to Kingston CAMHS therapy rooms at Tolworth Hospital.

We were delighted to welcome students from Surbiton High School to Kingston CAMHS at Tolworth Hospital for a two-day visit as part of their activity week, Soul in the Community, which was about giving back to the local community.

The students dedicated their time and talents to enhancing the team’s waiting and therapy rooms with beautiful artwork and vibrant plants, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors and staff.

Nisha Hickin, principle clinical psychologist at Kingston CAMHS, said:

“The students worked so hard, and the staff were wonderfully supportive. Our therapy rooms are now much more colourful and inviting, and we have beautiful new plants outside the building.

“This project is a great example of what can be achieved through community support and collaboration. A big thank you to Surbiton High students and staff for transforming our environment here at Kingston CAMHS!”
