South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) will become the new host for Choices College for the new academic year from 1 August 2026, supporting the continued development of the national specialist college which promotes employment opportunities for interns with learning difficulties, disabilities, and/or autism through a supported internship study programme. About Choices College
Choices College, currently hosted by NHS England, is a specialist college providing tailored educational support through a supported internship programme. It supports young adults aged 16–24 with learning difficulties, disabilities, or autism who hold an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Partnering with NHS healthcare settings, local organisations, and private businesses across 25 sites in England, to create supported work environments to provide real work experience for interns. Support is tailored to each intern based on their skills and interests.
Interns spend one year learning Maths, English and employability skills and attend up to three, 12-week placements with a Choices College partner.

About our care
