Car parking charges apply to visitors at:
- Springfield University Hospital
- Tolworth Hospital
- Richmond Hospital
Parking charges also apply at other sites where the Trust provides services but which are not owned by the Trust. For further information on these charges, please refer to the relevant website:
Our car parking charges as follows:
- £3 up to 2 hours
- £5 up to 4 hours
- £10 up to 12 hours
- No return permitted within 2 hours
We are committed to keeping car parking charges low for our patients. Therefore concessions are available so that no service user will pay more than £3 regardless of their length of stay. However, the minimum charge of £3 will always apply. Information on how to access the concessionary charge will be located in all our car parks.
If you are able to, please consider using public transport, cycling or other methods of transport to get to your appointment.
Electric Vehicle charging points at Springfield
Shaftesbury’s car park has 30 EV points and Trinity's car park has 8.
It is important to note that all of the EV points at the Trust are public which means that visitors, service users and staff can use them when required. Also, the EV spaces can only be used for the duration that the vehicle is being charged, a fact which is clearly highlighted on the signage surrounding the charging points.
The cost of using the EV points is set at 57 pence per kilowatt hour (kWh) which has been set to align with the price points found locally as well as an allowance for the Trust to meet the costs of the ongoing operation and maintenance of the points.
With the Monta app
- Scan the QR code on the Monta app, not just on your phone.
- Adjust the charging settings, add a payment method and swipe to charge.
Without the Monta App – using a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tag
- Create a Monta account online and add the RFID tag to the account,
- Plug in and tap the RFID on the charge point and the charge will start.
